Estate Sale: Everything’s the Same

December 3, 2019 1 Comment

This estate sale felt a bit like a rerun of the second one I went to; here was the home of a religious grandmotherly-type, and these were her things.

Little People figurines
She was fond of ceramic figurines.

Religious and holiday figurinesChristmas decorations and ornaments
And Christmas was a big deal for her.

Popular Mechanics and National Geographic magazines
I didn’t want to go through all these magazines, but I’m sure there was something interesting in there. One of them said “Moon Science” on the cover!

Glassware and silverware
Nothing particularly noteworthy here.

Cook books: Taste of Home and BOOZE
“BOOZE”

Other books - Bill O'Reilly, National Geographic, and poetryThree Twilight books on shelf
I wonder if she ever read the fourth Twilight book.

Blue scissors ($1), orange scissors (75 cents), ceramic cello
Why was the pointier scissors 25 cents cheaper than the other one?

Old TV and encyclopedia set
Nice TV (and encyclopedia set in the back).

Casio keyboard
It appears she, or someone in her family, knew how to play the keyboard.

Two cat pillows
These pillows looked like they came from the cat lover’s house. Almost tempting but ehh…wasn’t feeling it.

Chicken paper towel holder
Look, a chicken paper towel holder! But I wasn’t really into it either.

Miscellaneous objects
I left empty-handed.

As some people read obituaries, others go to estate sales. All praise to you!
