There’s an estate sale and it’s within walking distance. Yes, walking distance – like my favorite Twilight Zone episode.
Let’s see what they have for sale at this sale…
Chicken Pitchers
Okay, now obviously these chicken pitchers immediately got my attention.
But I already had one that I picked up from a thrift store sometime back:
And it was a lot cheaper than the ones at the estate sale.
I have to admit, I never used mine and didn’t even put it on display. It was stashed away in a cupboard for years, and I actually ended up donating it a couple months ago. There’s a lesson to be learned here.
Collector Plates
Really, the only unique thing about this sale was all the collector plates.
That’s a lot of plates! Most of them were souvenir plates from locations around the U.S., so I assume the person that owned these was a traveler.
These plates didn’t match the others:

There were also sets of mugs there.
These are fancy because they came in a box that says “Royal Worcester”.
