A stirring conclusion to the series! Bart Maddux has certainly grown in his rôle as the leader of this intrepid band. We are left with some questions, however. Most urgent of them is: Will the Professor and his young friends continue their crusade against bad science and other forms of evil? Also: if the renewal of the human body meant that the Professor had to drink from the Well of Cuchulain repeatedly, would he have had to do that every seven years? In which case, his immortality wouldn’t have amounted to much,…although I suppose you could add seven years to seven to seven and so forth, for eternity. Is that how it would have worked?

“Yes” to both of your questions!
The young Professor was rather better looking than the current-day Professor. He should lose the mustache!
What a poor wounded soul is that of Jebediah. His story is certainly the tragic heart of this fine saga!
