I believe this episode could be called a cliff-hanger. Or no, not that; nobody is hanging onto the cliff at the end. It is an *over*-the-cliff episode. – Poor Ruth, with her brains all eaten out! It must be the end of her! – Of great interest are the costumes people are wearing for the ceremony: Ruth’s wedding dress seems to be evoking a swan or other bird (her head band puts me in mind of an Indian princess); Liz is transformed by her gown and hairstyle, as is Tiffany, but Tiffany looks exceedingly sad, not to say moribund, and not at all like her usual self; Carl has a suitable black leather jacket with nails sticking out of it; Roger is wearing what I imagine is his best shirt, and it is…I don’t know how to describe it. Did it come from an Army-Navy store? It has a very weird texture…
Did I hear correctly that the wedding takes place in an “Attendance Hall”? Do they have those in colleges?
Also of note: we learn Ruth’s last name, but The Professor is still only The Professor!

Every turn on the roller coaster of Scientific Method is tighter; every twist increases the tension!
