An intriguing episode. —(Roger’s hair has gotten…taller, has it not? And of course Carl’s bangs are longer than they used to be. Meanwhile, the Professor has chosen to stay with a pony tail.) —I am glad that Bart Maddux, who plays the Professor, is continuing to read his lines with more conviction than he did in the early episodes of the show. —The episode begins on a melancholy, in not menacing, note, what with the rain and the music. I find it hard to believe, however, that Robert Goodfellow is really a good guy, as all our heroes do by the end. Didn’t RG try to kill them, and nearly succeed, on more than one occasion? Also, isn’t Robert Goodman going to die, that is, cease to exist as himself? Small consolation to *him* if the universe is saved as a result. —RG’s accent is as delightful as always. I hate to think (and therefore I refuse to do so) that we will never get to hear it again.

Some of Robert Goodfellow’s attempts at killing the team ended up having positive outcomes: befriending “Tess” in episode 42 being one of them.

Unfortunately this could indeed be the last we see of Mr. Goodfellow. Certain story arcs will close this season…and new ones will begin.
