Vegeta tolerates a trip to an amusement park with Bulma and Trunks. Elsewhere, Beerus gets in a fight with an alien over dinosaur meat.
Vegeta’s off with Bulma and Trunks to an amusement park because of a promise he made back in the early Buu Saga. Back then it was a throwaway line – Vegeta promising to take Trunks to the park – but now we’re get an episode out of it! We get a quick montage of the family going on rides, eating ice cream, etc. Gradually Vegeta gets more and more annoyed with the “fun” activities he has to endure and leaves so he can train in Bulma’s gravity room.
Goku and King Kai
Goku teleports to King Kai’s planet for training. King Kai comically complains that Goku still hasn’t used the Dragon Balls to bring him back to life since his death at the end of the Cell Games. Oops.
Beerus and Whis on Dinosaur Planet
As in the last episode, we get a scene showing Beerus, God of Destruction, and his attendant Whis. Here, we see them visit a prehistoric-looking planet inhabited by Stone Age critter things. The strongest critter warrior slays a dinosaur to feed the rest of the critter tribe, but Beerus wants it all for himself.
Beerus wins the fight and kills the critter, then kills all the other critters when he destroys their planet. Right after the explosion, Beerus remembers he had a prophetic dream about something called the “Super Saiyan God.”
This episode is pretty similar to the previous one in that it focuses on the Dragon Ball characters in slice of life situations, with a scene in the middle showing Beerus destroying a planet over food. The only difference is that this one focuses on Vegeta, since he was absent in the last episode. And it’s always amusing seeing Vegeta do normal, everyday stuff, but it’s not quite as funny as it could have been.
