Dragon Ball GT Episode 5: Check It Out, A Tough Guy! Ledgic, the Body Guard

January 17, 2018 Leave a Comment

Goku fights Don Kee’s top guard as the Imecka arc draws to a close.

Pan, Goku, and Trunks

The gang goes on the offensive

Episode Summary

While hiding from the Imeckan authorities, Goku, Trunks, and Pan decide enough is enough. Don Kee is an asshole and needs to be removed from power.

Ledgic

Ledgic’s ready for a fight

They race over to his castle and get ready to beat the stuffing out of him, but Ledgic, his top guard, stands in their way. Goku fights him one-on-one and demonstrates he still has the ability to transform into a Super Saiyan.

Ledgic is defeated, but being a good sport and all, takes it rather well and promises to train for a rematch (we never see him again).

Don Kee defeated

The loser: Don Kee

Don Kee gives up and all his stolen money is returned to the planet’s citizens. He then gives our heroes the parts they need for their space ship and they leave the planet with Giru (the robot that ate the Dragon Radar).

Thoughts

I don’t see why storming Kee’s castle couldn’t have happened earlier, say, last episode. The fight with Ledgic was good but a little rushed. Actually, the whole resolution to this arc felt rushed, but that’s okay. I’m done with Imecka. Let’s go somewhere else.
