Pan sneaks into General Rilldo’s base to rescue the captured Goku and Trunks.
Pan heads into Rilldo’s base and puts on a discarded robot shell, but does a terrible job of blending in. She is sent to a dumping ground for damaged/malfunctioning robots.
Here, Pan chats with a friendly robot who gives her a bit of background info on the planet’s history before giving her directions to where Goku and Trunks are being held.
Pan heads over there, but gets attacked by one of the Sigma Force robots (Natt). Because Giru fed the Sigma Force info on his former friends’ fighting styles, Natt is able to follow and anticipate Pan’s moves.
So she does something she’s never done before and destroys him. Nearby, Goku awakes and breaks free.
GT continues its streak of “not bad” episodes. Pan gets the spotlight again – nice to see how she fares alone, and she does much better here than in the desert planet episode. I love the comical scenes of her trying to blend in with the robots, and her quick fight against Natt was fine, if a bit predictable. But I did like how her anger-fueled power up was reminiscent of her father, Gohan, in early Dragon Ball Z. A good callback.
