The Doctor and Martha search for the location of the Infinite, an old space ship that has the power to grant people their hearts’ desires.
The Professor shrinks his students and injects them into his body to investigate a growth near his liver. There, they find a civilization that has modeled itself after Ancient Greece.
Ruth showed up last episode, and now she is sticking around. Has she become one of the team? Is the Professor okay with this? And what do Carl, Roger, and Liz think? Were they ever asked?
It’s not that I dislike Ruth. It’s just that I feel protective of the Professor, somehow.
It’s true of course that Ruth came up with a solution when nobody else did. As for the Professor himself… Will we ever see a tenderer side to the Professor? Or even just a nicer side? I mean, he’s basically a jerk, isn’t he? Sure, he knows a lot, but his vast knowledge causes as many problems as it solves. And he is always willing to use people. Perhaps jerkism and manipulativeness are characteristic of people who have been through the experiences he has… for who knows how many years…
Bob O’Rob and Rob-O-Bob are both fine new characters; I hope we may see them again.
